THE benefits OF
WORKING WITH 3D
SEE HOW IT FEELS
Details are not just details. They make the design. Enabling the viewer to imagine a tactile interaction with a product is as close as you to having them experiencing the real thing.
In our experience, capturing the subtle imperfections and nuances of a product's finish is the decisive factor in providing the viewer with a strong sense of realism and believable tactility.
NEW TOOLS, NEW RULES
3D doesn't just push the boundaries of traditional in-camera visuals, it breaks them completely. You're only limited by your own imagination. The new set of tools at our disposal allows the creative team to melt, mould or merge materials on a macro level. This creates the ability to explore a product's wondrous raw materials or take the viewer on a journey of how these materials are refined to form the final model.
The results are often abstract and mesmerising, providing a stunning contrast to the realism the product is anchored in. These visually-thrilling sequences also mean more eyes on the film and more repeat viewings, lending themselves to short cutdowns or loops to feed an ongoing online or SoMe campaign.
NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
Building sets and organising shoots can quickly become a logistical headache. Creating a virtual environment in 3D allows for a more flexible and agile process.
Dialing in the exact desired styling is made simple with the ability to adjust lighting, textures and placement of objects with relative ease.
ONE-TIME BUILD
Unlike photography, a 'reshoot' in 3D is only a few mouse clicks away. So expanding on an idea, getting another angle or revealing new colourways is simple without requiring the rebuild an entire set or the tedious task of matching the exact setup from last time.
NO PRODUCT? NO PROBLEM
Given the complexities of syncing marketing campaigns with the supply chain and manufacturing of products, it can often pose a huge challenge to access a final finished product to feature in the film.
Fortunately the 3D product can be modelled, textured art directed to faithfully represent the real thing. This also allows for adjustments during production, should there be a last-minute call made on colourways etc.
